There are a number of Chicago August festivals to close out the summer. You can choose from several of the most prominent in the greater Chicago area.

EdgeFest

–        August 6th & 7th, 2016

–        Saturday, Noon to 10pm

–        Sunday, 11am to 9pm

–        FREE Admission, $5 Suggested Donation

–        Edgewater, 5900 North Broadway at Thorndale Avenue

The fifth annual festival features music, food, karaoke, art, and even dogs.

Taste of Lincoln Avenue

–        August 6th & 7th, 2016

–        Noon to 10pm

–        FREE Admission, $8 Gate Donation benefits Wrightwood Neighbors Association

–        Lincoln Avenue and Fullerton Avenue

This is one of the most iconic of all Chicago August festivals celebrating its 33rd year.

Wrigleyville Summerfest

–        August 6th & 7th, 2016

–        Saturday, Noon to 10pm

–        Sunday, 11am to 9pm

–        FREE Admission, $5 Suggested Donation

–        3550 North Seminary Avenue

Play in one of the city’s most historic neighborhoods near Wrigley Field.

Albany Park World Fest

A melting pot of diversity fuels this 3rd annual festival of music, food, arts & crafts, and carnival rides.

Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest

–        August 20th & 21st, 2016

–        11am to 9pm

–        Glenwood and Morse Avenues

Enjoy music, theatre, food & drink in historic Rogers Park neighborhood.

Motor Row Craft Beer & Wine Fest

–        August 27th & 28th, 2016

–        1pm to 10pm

–        FREE Admission, $35 for Beer & Wine Tasting Ticket, $5 Gate Donation benefits Prairie District Neighborhood Alliance (donation included w/Beer & Wine Tasting Ticket)

Second annual event held in the Historic Motor Row District in the South Loop. There is also food, music, artisan, and display of vintage vehicles.
